Verde Vision is a design tool for landscape professionals. We collect what we need to run the app and the dashboard for your firm, we don't sell it, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites. This page explains the details in plain language.
Who we are
Verde Vision LLC ("Verde Vision", "we", "us") is an Arizona limited liability company based in Cave Creek, Arizona. You can reach us at demos@useverdevision.com.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to the Verde Vision app for Apple Vision Pro (the "app"), the client dashboard at dashboard.useverdevision.com (the "dashboard"), and this website. Together we call these the "service".
What we collect
Account details
When your firm signs up we collect the owner's name, email address, and company name, plus the name and email of each designer added to a seat. We use these to create logins and to contact you about your account.
Project data
The service stores the designs you create: property maps and measurements, plant and hardscape placements, alignment points, project names and any site address or client name you type in, and the blueprints and estimates generated from them. Projects created in the app sync to the dashboard so your firm can review, share, and edit them.
Photos and media
You can attach reference photos to a project in the app and upload images on the dashboard. We store these with the project they belong to. The app asks for permission before it reads anything from your photo library.
Spatial data on the headset
To place life-size content in a real yard, the app uses Apple's visionOS scene understanding: the ground and surface mesh around you, hand tracking for gestures, and image tracking of the printed Verde Vision alignment plates. This processing happens on the headset. We do not receive, record, or store passthrough camera video. Anchor data that lets a project reload in the same spot is kept on your device, and plate positions are stored as coordinates inside your project file.
Website forms
When you request founding pricing on this website, the form collects your name, company, email address, team size, whether you own an Apple Vision Pro, and anything you choose to add in the notes. The form is delivered to us through Formspree.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your payment details under its own privacy policy; we never see your full card number. We keep records of your plan, seats, invoices, and payment status.
Technical information
Like most online services, our servers keep basic logs (IP address, timestamps, device type, and the requests made) so we can keep the service running, secure, and debuggable. We do not use advertising trackers on the service, and the app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
How we use it
- To provide the service - creating your logins, syncing projects between the headset and the dashboard, generating blueprints and estimates, and sharing designs with clients through links you create.
- To bill you - managing trials, subscriptions, seats, and invoices.
- To support you - answering questions and diagnosing problems you report.
- To improve the product - understanding, in aggregate, which features get used so we can prioritise what to build next.
- To meet legal obligations - keeping the records the law requires and responding to lawful requests.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the providers that help us run the service, each bound to use it only for that purpose:
- Apple - distributes the app through the App Store and TestFlight.
- Supabase - hosts the dashboard's database and sign-in.
- Stripe - processes subscription payments.
- Formspree - delivers the website's founding-pricing form.
- Cloudflare - serves this website and its demo video.
When you share a design with a client through a share link, anyone who has that link can view that design. You control who you send links to, and you can revoke a link from the dashboard.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and project data for as long as your firm's account is active. If you delete a project, it is removed from the dashboard and from sync; copies already on a headset are removed when that device next syncs or when the app is deleted. When an account closes, we delete its projects and personal information within 90 days, except for billing and tax records we are required to keep for longer.
Security
Data moves between the app, the dashboard, and our providers over encrypted connections, and access to production systems is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so if you believe your account has been accessed without permission, tell us right away.
Your choices
- Access and correction - you can view and edit your account details and projects on the dashboard at any time.
- Export - blueprints and estimates export as PDF from the app; email us for a copy of your other data.
- Deletion - deleting the app removes the projects stored on that headset. To delete your account and everything we hold, email us and we will confirm once it's done.
- Marketing - we only email about your account, your trial, and product updates that affect you. Reply to any message to stop receiving updates.
Residents of California and other states with privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to know what we collect and to ask us to delete it. We honour those requests from anyone, wherever you live.
Children
The service is built for landscape professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will post the new version here with an updated date and, for significant changes, email account owners before it takes effect.
